Of the many things we grow at the farm, we have found numerous benefits to growing herbs, both medicinal and culinary. We begin in the late winter months starting basils, thyme, oregano and other culinary stars. With an interest in herbal healing, Heather tends to the medicinal garden from planting to harvest, with an affinity toward the nervine and adaptogenic herbs: The herbs that ease and counter modern day stress.
From early spring to fall, an assortment of herbal allies are growing on the farm. We offer herb seedlings for sale in the spring, as well as select herbal products to be posted seasonally, on a local scale basis.
